2020 has been the most tumultuous year in living memory due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent recession, and this has caused a massive shift in how companies will operate going forward. As such, priorities have shifted toward becoming safer and more automated, and more remote companies, which has in turn affected future IT strategies. Although Japan has weathered the pandemic fairly well compared to other countries, priorities have also shifted domestically, and hence, IT planning has been impacted. 2021 will see a rise in new IT initiatives in the country as industry prepares for a post-COVID-19 world, and the following are ten predictions for the coming year:【抄訳】2020年は、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大とそれによる不況により、かつてない激動の年となり、今後企業がどのように事業展開していくかに大きな変化をもたらした。企業の優先課題は、より安全で、かつ自動化と在宅勤務を推進する方向へとシフトしており、これらが今後のIT戦略に影響を与えている。日本は、他国に比べればパンデミックをうまく切り抜けてきているとはいえ、世界と同様に優先課題は変化している。アフターコロナの世界に向けて、国内において新たなITの取り組みの増加が予想される。そこで、2021年のIT／通信市場における10の予測をまとめた。
