Previous editions of Einstein’s Eye have discussed the concept of non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, and the potential that they have to drive future Web3 and eventually metaverse applications. And while NFTs have only attracted mainstream attention recently and there have been many setbacks to this emerging technology, significant progress has been made in terms of developing solid use cases, and some of the world’s leading companies have already unveiled ambitious plans for utilizing these digital assets. Enthusiasm for NFTs is rising in Japan, as the government recently produced a whitepaper which outlines its Web3 strategy and places considerable emphasis on utilizing NFTs as a part of its overall strategy to drive digitization in the country.【抄訳】EINSTEIN'S EYEでは、これまでNFT（非代替性トークン）のコンセプトと、Web3の将来とメタバースアプリケーションを牽引するNFTの潜在能力について述べてきた。NFTは、最近一般にも注目されるようになったが、これまで多くの失敗を経て、ユースケースの構築という点では大きく進展したといえる。実際、いくつかの世界の主要企業は、このデジタル資産を活用した野心的な計画を発表している。日本政府は、『経済財政運営と改革の基本方針2022（骨太方針2022）』を閣議決定し、国内のデジタル化を推進する戦略の一部としてNFTの利用を重要視しており、NFTへの注目度がさらに高まっている。
