CES 2024 was held from January 9th to January 12th, 2024, where over 135,000 visitors, including 3,500 companies and 1,000 startups, gathered to showcase important technology trends for the coming year. The show has continued to return to pre-pandemic activity levels as attendance increased by 20,000 over the previous year and many overseas exhibitors have returned. The 2024 edition of the show had several key themes, which included digital health, generative AI, sustainability, gaming, vehicle tech, cybersecurity, future of money, and space tech. AI was the hottest topic at the show as many of the exhibitors focused on how generative AI will impact both the consumer and enterprise IT sectors.【抄訳】2024年1月9日～12日に開催された「CES 2024」では、3,500の企業と1,000のスタートアップが出展し、今後の重要な技術トレンドが披露された。来場者数は前年から2万人増の13万5,000人超に上り、海外からの出展企業も多数戻ってきたことから、ショーはコロナ前の活況を取り戻しつつある。デジタルヘルス、生成AI、持続可能性、ゲーム、自動車技術、サイバーセキュリティ、お金の未来、宇宙技術などのテーマが取り上げられたが、今回、最も注目されたトピックは「AI」であった。多数の出展企業が、コンシューマーおよびエンタープライズITに生成AIがどのような影響を与えるかに焦点を当てていた。
